 nment.During the past years the Global Taskforce has been meeting annually
  at a technical level\, in order to define the joint work plan and align s
 trategies of the different organization members towards international poli
 cy processes.In the very recent years\, the Global Taskforce agreed to mak
 e additional efforts to strengthen the political representation mechanisms
  to produce joint policy products and to enhance in depth policy dialogues
 . All of these tracks have been pursued with special attention towards ali
 gnment on international representation and political mobilization during 2
 022 and 2023 key moments.This path towards alignment has been consolidated
  in the five past years through the enhancement of the Global Taskforce me
 mbers and partners during thorough policy processes at the UCLG World Cong
 ress in Daejeon. It is also worth mentioning the important achievements in
  the acknowledgement and recognition of our work in the Climate Change Agr
 eements\, the increased momentum of the localization strategy\, and the ac
 knowledgement of our constituency through the UN Secretary General’s Adv
 isory Board of Local and Regional Governments as well as the World Assembl
 y of Local and Regional Governments.2023 should be the year in which the G
 TF continues planting the seeds for joint policy development and enhancing
  policy dialogue. As 2023 will include the Mid Term Review of the Sustaina
 ble Development Goals with the SDG Summit\, the constituency of local and 
 regional governments will continue to push for a consolidated united voice
